I found the house of my dreams, being a newly single mum it was a exciting and nerve wrecking. Luke was extremely welcoming and approachable. Luke kept checking in to see my interest in the property as every agent does, however I explained that my financial situation would not meet the day of the Auction. Luke seemed to do everything in his powers to make this work for me and it made me trust luke and his experience. We agreed on a settlement and deposit to be paid on the day. After a few weeks luke requested a 5% deposit which completely caught me by surprise. This was absolutely not discussed in our agreement nor in the signed contract. Throughout all of this he has hassled me, abused my solicitor and made this an absolute nightmare for me. It has affected me mentally and physically and has made me no longer excited for this chapter. I have been threatened that the vendor could potentially place the property back on the market potentially leaving me in a huge amount of debt without a house to show for it. All I ask is for people to please be careful if something sounds too good to be true it may possibly be so. I'm still not out of the woods yet but have my fingers crossed everything will fall into place. I just Cabt believe a human being can be so selfish and not care about the impact of someone else's life in the process. Be careful
