As first time home buyers my wife and I had heard all the horror stories that pervade about agents and some of the pitfalls surrounding them. In several years of looking for our desired property we'd dealt with many agents in the Coffs region and alas found a lot of them to be transparently shallow in their dealings. However, Luke Wenban was an absolute breath of fresh air. Right from our initial dealings with him he balanced his obligations to the vendors with exceptional integrity and forthrightness towards ourselves. At multiple points throughout the purchasing process he repeatedly went above and beyond his scope of duties to provide us with assistance. Simply put Luke was fantastic and we were able to put minor issues with the vendors to aside as he ensured that the sale proceeded with our full confidence and comfort - for buyers this is a huge bonus and lets you know that you can aggressively pursue properties listed by Luke knowing his personal and professional integrity will be there to ensure only the correct path of action is followed. By the same token, we'd have likely withdrawn from the sale were it not for Luke and the vendors, who'd been unsuccessfully trying to list their home for more than 3yrs would likely still be chasing a buyer. Luke was the glue that held this all together and so I'd assure prospective sellers to strongly consider Luke Wenban for your listing as he does put the vendors interests above all others - as in this case, to ensure that the maximum possible selling price available in the market was obtained. If you're considering others for your listing I would urge you to make sure you meet face to face with Luke as part of this process as he's a genuine born and raised Coffs Harbour local with genuine old school values but also all the best modern sales approaches and knowledge.
