Mal was always in contact about the property. Any questions I had he would answer or if he didn’t know would find out for me. Mal is a great person to deal with and will go out of his way to help you with your purchase.

He honestly answered questions I asked and, since my purchase, has continued to offer help wherever he can in terms of information about the area and people to speak to about particular activities I would like carried out on my property.

We were so happy to finally have found a place that we wanted to settle. Then as we were putting in our application we were told that we would potentially be unable to negotiate a higher price if we went too low. This was obviously incorrect and we felt like he thought we were too inexperienced of how the process of buying a house worked. We were then able to adjust the prices and finally had a contract in place. However even though the contract was in place, Mal made the point that he was contacted by multiple people wanting to come look at the place. This confused us as to why he kept making a point across to say people were interested and why didn’t he just put it was under contract online at this time? Then when we tried to have an early settlement date he said we had to go through our solicitor. However, this information provided was incorrect as our contract stated that we could move in before our settlement if negotiated with the owner, hence Mal should have been the middle man. Finally, when settlement date was organised for a specific time we were unable to collect the keys “as not all the documentation was sent” but our solicitor explained that everything had been processed and we should have the keys. When i called back (2 hours after settlement time negotiated) he was still reluctant to give the keys but said to me “its fine, go and enjoy your new house, i left the keys in the top draw in the kitchen and left the back door unlocked”. Not only was this highly unprofessional but didn’t even have the decency to meet us out at the property to congratulate us. I know we are in covid times but we had met on multiple occasions to sign the contracts prior to this day. Also we have heard from friends about receiving welcome packages to congratulate the new owners and we were not greeted with anything or by anyone. Overall highly disappointed in Mal and Explore Property and had an overall bad experience and would not recommend
My experience with Mal, was excellent, he was always on time, and very easy to talk too, his experience with Real Estate and life in general is extraordinary, he has great communication skills, and he is always well presented, with a happy and friendly nature, I recommend Mal very highly, he has a very positive outlook on life, and a can-do attitude, which certainly helped to sell my house, in the middle of a pandemic, thanks heaps Mal, you’re the best.
