I would have no hesitation in referring Marcus to anyone thinking of selling or buying. His knowledge of our local area is second to none and he was always helpful and very professional at all times. His down to earth nature makes him very approachable and a pleasure to deal with throughout the buying process. If and when we decide to sell, he will be the only Agent we call on.

Hardworking, persistent & passionate would be the way I would describe Marcus. I am so glad I chose him to sell my investment property. I first met Marcus by coincidence, as he was ushering people through our neighbour’s house in Samuel Street, Surry Hills. As I walked out, I had a friendly interaction with Marcus and he also offered to show me the neighbour’s house as we were looking to buy a home. A few weeks later, I reached out to Marcus to provide him with our brief, the type of property we were looking for and the timeframe. Marcus was very professional and said he would look out for properties with our criteria, and also shared that a property may be coming up in the near future. A week later, we received confirmation of a private pre-market viewing and my wife and I managed to walk through a three bedroom terrace in Surry Hills. Marcus showed us through and extended his open home window so we could see the home and take photos and videos. A day later we placed a formal offer, and continued the discussions over the following days. While it was nerve-wracking, Marcus and Matt were transparent throughout the process, and communicated clearly what the vendor was after, whether it was the price or the terms and conditions. Once in agreement, and the contract had been reviewed, we met with Matt and Marcus to sign the contract. My wife was still a little hesitant as we had only seen the property once, which is less than a usual auction campaign. Matt and Marcus were understanding and did not add any pressure on us, and also gave us some privacy to have a final think before we signed the contract! Marcus and Matt also arranged for access to the property during settlement so we could measure for furnishings. We could not be happier with the process, the team’s professionalism and calling Surry Hills our home.
