Marcus approached me several months ago, just as I was looking to sell the first of three apartments in a building to raise funds to support a new property investment, and convinced me to use Jellis Craig for all three transactions. Flat 13, the largest of the apartments, required extensive upgrading (new bathroom, kitchen, wooden flooring throughout etc) and yet I was on a very tight timeframe to settle so as to realise funds for my new site. Marcus was really, really helpful throughout the whole process, liaising directly with the builder at times to help drive the renovations, and arranging all the staging and photography. When we squeezed the auction in on 21 December, I worried that we may have missed the Spring auction boat. But Marcus worked hard with the prospective Buyers, even arranging a representative for an interstate Buyer who had to cancel his flight at the last minute... the result was a very highly competitive auction, achieving a price that was just off the charts, and with a settlement date that works for me!! This was really exemplary team work from Jellis Craig, for which I am extremely grateful!!

I recently sold the apartment next to 9/369 Abbotsford St at auction with Jellis Craig and was very impressed with the price achieved, which exceeded my expectations by over $35,000. Knowing that In was about to bring Flat 9 to market, Marcus immediately approached the under-bidder at the Flat 10 auction and, despite their initial disappointment at losing out, was able to convince them to buy Flat 9 through a private sale, at the highest price they had bid... just $500 under the auction-winning bid!! This was a really brilliant outcome - not only did we secure a great Buyer who will be hugely happy with the apartment, but we saved all the marketing costs for Flat 9 and got the whole deal wrapped up in just a few short days. I can't see how any agent could have done a better job, for either Seller or Buyer - everybody's happy, and the deal was done so smoothly... just brilliant!!

I'm pleased Marcus made that initial call, and will be selling further property in the area through him!!
