About Mark

Professionals & Mark Cochrane have recently rebranded to North Coast Lifestyle Properties. Mark Cochrane is a licenced real estate agent for North Coast Lifestyle Properties Mullumbimby. This young man started in real estate in 1967. He became the youngest licenced real estate agent in NSW in 1972 and youngest qualified valuer in 1973. Mark moved to the North Coast in 1974 and later established Mark Cochrane Real Estate in Mullumbimby. Mark also established Mullumbimby Red Poll cattle stud in 1986 and very successfully showed cattle at the Royal National, Royal Sydney and Royal Brisbane shows. Mark’s involvement with the district has been very extensive and he sat as Chairman of the Mullumbimby Hospital Site Trust for many of his 20 years as a member of that Trust. Mark’s experience and knowledge are your guarantee of professional real estate service second to none. Mark has a passion for boating including ocean cruising. Sometime back he voyaged to The Louisiades and Trobian Islands in P.N.G. on an aid mission taking over 500 pairs of glasses, 800 toothbrushes, half a ton of clothing as well as extensive medical supplies for outlying medical posts and emergency treatment. He arrived just over a week after cyclone ITA and needed everything he and his wife Alison had taken.

What can i say but Amazing experience from start to Finish. Marks compassion, empathy, knowledge and demeanour was nothing but First class. My experience with Mark will never be forgotten. From video tours, checking on property for me several times, to update photos to the warmest welcoming ever. I recommend this lovely professional kind man to anyone either buying or selling. Mark has extensive knowledge of the market, particularly acreage in the Mullumbimby region. Communication with Mark was always accessible, prompt and straightforward, and from initial contact I felt like a person rather than a "number". A fair price was set after taking the property and the market into account. I wanted an transaction where there was no manipulation and both parties came away feeling like they had a positive experience. We had an offer at full price on the first day listed. Mark dealt professionally with a few complications along the way to settlement and I think both parties felt supported in what is a quite stressful process (selling a family home).
