Post sale to settlement Mark has been there, 7 Stars. His successful social media platforms were so effective. These video stories were bespoke and tailored to my rare 19C double-fronted Surry Hills warehouse (perfectly directed and scripted drone videography). The campaign's outreach was really impressive and extremely creative which then resulted in an excellent selling price. Fantastic experience with Mark Foy and the whole Team Foy at Belle. Honest discussion and evaluation in the sit down that resulted in taking the property to sale. But the key to mention here is that Mark took the time over the last ~5 years to stay close, ask questions and be informed of what we were up to property wise. This built great loyalty and respect and meant we knew we had a trusted partner to work with through our sales process. Highly recommend the team for honest advice, really proactive sales activity and they delivered exactly as they said they would.

The Good: - The support team were organised, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Maddy especially is a superstar!! - Experience: Mark is clearly very experienced and has a confident/warm/commanding presence - Communication: Mark communicated clearly and regularly - Advice: Mark gave great advice on the improvements required to the property to maximise desirability - Fees: No complaints - Ultimate Outcome: The price achieved was fantastic and surpassed our expectations. Mark did a great job negotiating in the final stage of the process. The Not so Good: The process didn't feel easy and was quite stressful. The interactions with Mark were strained at times with 2-3 long, tense calls over the journey. - Price Guide: I clearly indicated that we did not have to sell and would only do so if we reached above a certain number. Despite this my price expectations were managed down from early on. I felt pressure to look at offers below this. A lot of fear tactics were used throughout the journey. My impression is that the key driver for them doing 80% of their sales prior to auction is for their own efficiency. - Having just completed a year long property development course focused on using data for suburb analysis and comparable sales etc, I was well on top of this side of things and spent many hours analysing this for my unit. I did not appreciate comments like "all owners think their place is special" and worse requests to speak to my husband when I challenged Mark on numbers (my husband wasn't involved in the sale) - A key reason I chose Belle/Mark was that I wanted to the guide close to my price expectations having wasted much time over the years on low ballers. They indicated this is how they did business. However we had multiple heated discussions on this topic and in the end the property sold for 270k over their recommended guide (which I fought to increase). - Communication post exchange (around pre settlement inspection timing, keys, furniture pickup etc)

The sale price was on the lower side of what we had hoped but this is a reflection of the current market conditions, and not of their level of expertise and professionalism. They really set the bar high for other real estate agents.
