I think that the idea of the 'best agent' is subjective and could be measured several ways including the: - Number of sales made in an area - Vendors selling experience with the agent - Sale price of the property - Comparison of sale price with the initial price guide - Comparison of sale price with the price range stated in the initial agency agreement - Buyer's experience and whether they believe they'd got a good deal - Suburb or street record. - Agent negotiated premium - Agent's reputation. So, what I'm saying is that the 'best agent' is not an easy question for me to answer because we don't transact very often and even though we try to maintain objectivity, selling was quite an emotive experience for us as vendors, certainly from what we see from friends and buyers and even for some agents. For us, Mark, Amanda & Josh were transparent, great communicators, operated a logical and methodical process which was explained upfront, while the process took longer than expected and fluctuated more wildly than we hoped, their focus and commitment delivered more buyers than we thought and although not quite up to the price we wanted, we achieved a price we accepted on terms which worked for us. Would we use them again? Absolutely.
