Our sale was complicated as I had planned to prepare the property for sale myself however I was stuck in NSW due to Covid travel restrictions. Mark made it very clear from the beginning that it was a ‘sellers market’ and was not interested in answering my questions. In fact he made me feel like I was wasting his time asking questions. In response to one question, he remarked ‘I don’t know ask the neighbors’ in a dismissive tone. When we decided to put in an offer in, he said he didn’t have time to write up the offer in person. He tried to rush me through signing legal documents over the phone, having me write and initial clauses without proper explanation. I think my biggest shock was when he asked me how much savings I had in my bank account! When I refused to continue over the phone he made time to do it in person. We did get the s property, but the experience we had leading up to it was a bit disappointing.
