if you are looking for an unscrupulous agent Mr Nunn is your man He will do anything for a sale As the buyers everything was okay until we signed the documents. He never showed up to a pre-arranged final inspection 5 days before settlement. He then assured us that the seller was very trustworthy and honest. (His words) we were refused access to property to do final inspection until the morning of settlement At the final inspection which was the day of settlement my partner went to property and discovered a lot of the fixtures up to the value of around $7k was missing at which point Mark said they are chattels and can be removed and it was our fault. The vendor states they told Mr Nunn they were taking these fixtures. Which he failed to communicate this to us. Someone is lying, not that this matters as the vendor should have had these items written into contract. If they were removing them as they were definitely fixtures. Mark Nunn has refused any assistance to help rectify the situation and we are now left with having to commence legal proceedings against the vendor. To sum things up Mark Nunn got his commission, the vendors will be sued and we are left with the headache of sorting things out. What should be a nice happy experience buying a beautiful home has ended up being a nightmare
We were very pleased with the outcome of our sale with Buxton. All of the staff treated us with openness and great communication throughout the process.
