We were slightly apprehensive about using an out of area agent. The local agents said we should stick with people who knew the area. We chose Mark and Wendy from Elders Kingborough as they were honest and upfront about our home. The marketing process went very smoothly – great professional photos and script. We could have as much or little involvement in this as we wanted. We put it on the market on Wednesday morning, that afternoon, they had already shown two people through which generated competition. They had people booked the next day too and were happy to show it as many times as it took. We did have an open home booked for Saturday. We received a fantastic offer from the first showing, way above the price range and above what other agents thought it would sell for. Mark and Wendy sat down with us and explained about the whole process and how important it was to create competition. We decided to take this offer before the Open Home.
