Mark was raised in the Netherlands from a young age after being born in Sydney, before he returned to live in Australia in 1981. He was able to travel around the country by hitchhiking, with his journey eventually coming to an end on the East Coast where Mark, then in his early twenties, bought a yacht and sailed to the Sunshine Coast in 1987. He went onto building yachts and participated in several Sydney to Hobart Yacht Races. Mark feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to begin his real estate career at the beautiful Sunshine Coast suburb of Minyama in the year 1990.
Since the commencement of his real estate career, Mark has enjoyed great success and prides himself on total commitment in obtaining the best possible results for his clients. He thoroughly enjoys the interaction dealing with different types of people and personalities and has a passion for architecture and specialised luxury properties. Over the years, Mark has had the privilege of receiving real estate awards from multinational companies and been a finalist for the REIQ Queensland sales person of the year on many occasions, proving his consistency in providing excellent service to his sellers.
