While Mark was the agent appointed when our house sold, he did not sell the house. We gave him the keys and left so he could take buyers through and "sell" the house. The eventual buyers had no idea of any of the features of the house. They did not even know that there was an integrated fridge and freezer or dishwasher in the kitchen or that there was a new railway station being built 800 metres away. He did not provide any feedback and why the buyers were not making offers. We had to chase him. For doing nothing but turning up half the time, he was paid $32000 commission or more accurately a gift.
We spoke with a number of local agents in the area before selecting McGrath, because they took the time and effort to explain the psychology of buying and selling real estate.
