I finally put pen to paper. The delay has been deliberate. At 80 years of age I pride myself on being honest, which often is in conflict when commenting on the performance of someone you like. You were one of four agents I approached to assist in finding a new home for myself. As I originally stressed that because my total travel time was 5 hours, I gave you a rather precise list of properties in which I was interested. My expectation was to view, hopefully find and purchase in the shortest possible time, I didn't want to spend my life traveling. On that first day when you suggested I first view a property that wasn't on my list, I admit to drawing the biggest of breaths while I felt my impatience grow. Lucky you, as you said at the time, based on my original requirements, you just knew it would be the property I must have and you were spot on. Thank you ever so much Martin. I could not be happier. Given my age I do not anticipate buying again however if it did occur I believe I could not be happy if it were with anyone else.

When we inspected the property Martin told us that he didn't really like the property when he first walked it. Then while we were negotiating, he was very seemed unwilling to convey our thoughts to the owners. When we purchased the property, we went to the office to collect the keys and the girl behind the counter gave us the keys. She asked that we take a photo of ourselves in front of the sold sign at the house and send it to them - I don't know who they thought was going to take the photo? When we got the packet with the keys, there were not instructions on how to use the alarm system. I never intended on writing an average review, but 4 months later, I am still getting emails asking for a review!
