I first met Martin in November 2017 as one of 3 agents I interviewed to conduct the sale of my house. To be honest he presented as well as the other two but I chose him because he lives in the area and demonstrated an indepth understanding not just a superficial knowledge of the area. I also attended an auction he was presiding over and I was impressed with his overall approach to auction; in particular he seemed to work very hard for his clients. After meeting hm and discussing a strategy, dates, time etc plus fall back positions I felt reassured. Martin was honest in his assessment of what improvements needed to be made to help sell the property. He recommended a tradesman who was outstanding in the way he approached the tasks and in conjunction with stylist presented the property in the best possibe light and thus gave me every opportunity for a sale. In the lead up to the auction the property was open for inspection twice weekly. Martin attended all these ( some companies intercgange their staff on inspection times) and reported back to me afterwards with the numbers attended, comments by attendees and those who were returning for a second or further inspections. In the week prior to the auction Martin reviewed the campaign noting likely bidders and a strategy on auction day. Although nervous on auction day I was confident that the property would be sold for my reserve price. At all times Martin was optimistic for a good outcome without being over confident. On auction day it was raining at the time of the auction so Martin brought the auction inside which I am sure improved the atmosphere and led to a most successful outcome. Post auction everything has gone smoothly up to settlement day. Overall I have been very pleased with the professional and personable way Martin approached the sale of my property. From the early stages He seemed to have established a rapport with the eventual purchasers and relay to me their needs and genuine interest in my property.
