About Mateen Khan

Hi, my name is Mateen Khan, and I’m a Property Adviser, Property Developer, Project Manager and Real Estate Sales Agent with more than two decades of experience in financial services, high-level negotiations, and wealth management. Early in my career, I had the privilege of working for a billion-dollar international insurance company. I was mentored under the philosophy and legacy of the late Mr. William Clement Stone, a world-renowned businessman and motivational thinker. He pioneered a results-driven philosophy with Napoleon Hill based on the functioning of the human mind: “What the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.” Driven to expand my professional capabilities, I transitioned into the financial services sector as an Assistant Financial Planner. It was here that I gained a deeper understanding of financial systems, investment strategy, and risk management. I had the opportunity to work alongside some of the best in the business—high-performing fund managers and elite-level accountants, many of whom had extensive experience at some of the world’s most prestigious financial institutions including BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, and Vanguard. My responsibilities involved the strategic management of significant financial portfolios and superannuation accounts. These weren’t small sums; I routinely worked with multi-million-dollar funds across a wide range of client profiles—from everyday Australians to high-net-worth individuals and family offices. Over the years, I gained hands-on experience advising on and managing client portfolios connected to some of Australia’s largest and most reputable superannuation providers and one of the core skills I developed throughout this journey was negotiation. This has become one of my greatest assets in the real estate space. A home is not just a physical asset; it’s part of a greater financial strategy. Whether someone is buying, selling, or investing, there are always financial and emotional stakes involved—and having a representative who understands both is critical to getting the best outcome. In today’s real estate market, having a great sales agent is important—but what’s even more important is having someone who understands strategy. While many agents rely heavily on a single sales methodology—such as Private Treaty, Tender, Expression of Interest, or Auction—I approach each property with a tailored, strategic mindset. I believe that strategy should drive methodology, not the other way around. As a Property Adviser who is also a licensed real estate sales agent, I’m uniquely positioned to guide clients through all stages of the selling process—from planning and preparation to marketing and negotiation. When the property is in excellent condition, any experienced agent may achieve a strong result. However, if the property requires work or is positioned in a unique market segment, only an adviser with a deep understanding of strategy can extract the best value. One of the principles I hold dear is that help should be offered without expectation. I often advise homeowners on how to sell their homes independently if that’s in their best interest. I guide them through the process completely free of charge—no obligation, no commitment, no catch. I do this because I’ve seen firsthand how much people can save when they’re empowered to take control of their own sale. In some cases, homeowners can save thousands in marketing fees and tens of thousands in agent commissions. If they feel confident enough to handle it on their own, I consider it my responsibility to help them succeed. Every client has a unique story, financial position, and goal. Mateen Mohammed is unique. He is very enthusiastic and hard working guy. His priority is honesty that is why he is able to keep both seller and buyer happy.
