Selling a house is not as easy as it sounds and there are definitely many highs and lows, however with Stephanie and Matt we managed to overcome the bumpy road of selling and getting there in the end. Overall we are very pleased with selling our home with Pretti real estate and having Matt and Steph as our agents. Stephanie and Matt helped us look at different perspectives about selling and walked us through the process, we are very grateful.
When we first met Matthew, the immediate thing that struck us was his friendly yet very professional demeanour. His knowledge of the local area and the current market conditions were apparent when he presented the sales strategy for our home and it suited our approach to selling perfectly. He presented balanced pros and cons for our own ideas and ultimately left it for us to decide on the best course of action to take in selling our home. Matt also kept us up to date with the performance of the marketing campaign of our property from start to finish, which also helped us to be flexible in adapting to the changing market conditions. He was also great in negotiating the price that we were aiming for and tried his best to get as close as possible to our target. We highly recommend Matthew if you are a seller that understands the market, are realistic with your expectations and like an agent that is strategic and passionate with selling your home.
Perhaps more care needs to be shown with market appraisals to ensure a credible outcome especially where clients have not been in the market place for a long time. Most clients would I believe put a great deal of faith in the agents expertise and it is important not to raise false expectations.
We found Mathew to be attentive, informative and genuine. He was always polite & contactable. We found the whole process of selling, after 30 years in this house, quite stressful and Mathew did his best to ease all our worries.
