Matt Ingram
Matt was brilliant to deal with when he was trying to sell the house, even calling to confirm our sale on Christmas day! But after that, he obviously lost interest and was dishonest and arrogant in his response to our queries. We bought inter-state for an investment purposes, so we didn't inspect the house. After settlement we started showing tenants through the property with a different real estate agent than Matt. Upon the first inspection, it was apparent that the house was filthy, there was dirt and dust everywhere, the carpets were unclean and 3/4 of the prospective tenants all made comments about how dirty the house was. I'm sure if Matt was in charge of managing the property he would make sure it was clean. And I'm sure he knew it was not clean at the time of handover. All we wanted was a quick message or call just letting us know that we would require a cleaner to come through the property and tidy things up. When voicing our concern, Matt advised us he made sure the house was clean when he left denying any wrong doing, and then made some smart remarks about the real estate agents we were using trying to belittle them. He then offered his property management services as a solution. I found this extremely arrogant and rude. I believe Matt knew the house was dirty, knew we hadn't seen it, and decided not to advise us of the state it was in, in spite of not using PRD to manage the property.
