Made things very clear and had a great understanding of the area and what we were looking for. Matt was the 3rd agent we engaged. That was our biggest mistake. Should have been our first. Thanks to his knowledge and work our house was sold within weeks for the value we expected. Firstly Matt is a good agent and does know his stuff. His communication is fast and responsive however in my dealings with Matt on this ocassion things could have been much better. Property went on the market June/July 2017 and sold February 2018 following a single Open house in February 2018 during that time the selling price in the area took a dive and I've lost over 20K on the deal. Something which might have been avoided if the tenant had been handled better in the first instance. Matt is not totally responsibile for this as I agreed to allow him to negotiate with them on access to the property. Access never really went the way it should have prolonging the time in the market and dropping my selling price. I wish Matt well as he is a genuine individual and wish him every success for the future.
Matt was great to have worked with! As new home buyers we were a little overwhelmed particularly in the past when other agents had been pushy and overbarring. Matt was nothing like this! He welcomed us into the home and the process, walked us through what we needed to do and was always there if we needed to contact him. He had great knowledge of the area and the property. In all our dealing with Matt Tennant we found him to be fair and honest in his opinions, attentive to all our requests, and very knowledgeable about the property we were purchasing and the Redlands area in general. In after sales service he has been very helpful and attentive, in fact on two occasions he has rendered very valuable assistance when in the first incident a pipe burst in the downstairs bathroom just day after we had purchased the property. The second incident was on receiving a call from a neighbour in Daydream Street that a "tradie"had not locked the garage to the property he made the journey to the home at about 7 pm and locked the garage for us.
