An old, unrenovated house in a great West Footscray street, needed an agent with local knowledge and experience. We also needed a realistic person to advise us and to work through the whole process. Matthew was able to achieve all of this. When we discussed staging he made the initial appointment for a designer. When I needed a handyman to do some minor repairs he handled that. In addition he kept me informed about the potential buyers and the open inspections. He also provided detailed reports covering people’s feedback about the property and information about recent sales in the area. This information meant that I was under no illusions about the price that I should set as a reserve. Throughout the whole process I appreciated all of his advice and found that everyone I dealt with from his office to be excellent. Selling a family home is an emotional experience. I am very pleased with our result and the way everything was handled.
