WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! REAL ESTATE AGENT IS ONLY AFTER HIS COMMISSION..
I had a very bad experience with Ray White, in 2 different occasions.
I bought a property in Glenroy last Feb, in the contract was written that the property as been rent but the lease was expired. The agent told on the day I signed the contract he would have sent the vacation notice to the renters and therefore they had 60 days to leave the property.
Knowing the settlement was going to be in 60 days, I gave my notice to leave the place where I was renting in 2 months time.
A month before the settlement Ray White office sent me a reminder to book the last inspection at least a week before the settlement. I try to call and email several times the agent, but he mysteriously disappeared. After I called the office a couple of times, he finally returned the call. He booked me in a week before the settlement and then cancelled last minute. We finally met for the last inspection 4 days before settlement. Only then he told me that the renters were still in my property. He told that he didn't know about it. And also said the renters didn't have any intention to leave the property.
After double checking with my lawyer, Ray White office communicate to my lawyer that there was a "miscommunication" between raywhite and the renters. Basically the agent never sent the vacation notice.
Considering I had already sent my notice to vacate the place where I was renting, I had nowhere to go and I didn't have anywhere to put all my furniture. I had to stay for 10 days in a B&B while I was working and had to book a storage for a month to keep all my furniture. When my lawyer sent the bill to the agent, he called me back and with a rude tone told me that if he wanted he could let stay the renters until the end of May because we only sent the vacation notice in April. This is very unprofessional and disturbing, considering I found myself in this situation because of Ray White mistake.
