Max has changed my family's life and I will forever be indebted to him. Being foreigners to the auction system my family and I were very wary of the property market here, and with all the jokes and reputations of real estate agents, we just didn't know who to trust. Max had introduced himself to us while he was successfully selling 3 other homes down our road, but the cynic in us just thought that his smile and friendly nature was surely there to cover up some 'money hungry/sell his own granny' monster inside. However that couldn't have been further from the truth! The smile and friendly nature is totally genuine, and actually hides the almost inhuman work ethic underneath, like the proverbial duck gliding gracefully on the surface while its feet flap away furiously underneath. Max (and Jess) covered EVERYTHING for us. Max recommended we move out and let him 'dress' the place up and that's what we did. We set a budget with Max and then he brought in all the trades people we needed to transform our home and achieve the result we said we needed to make our next move possible. Within 1 week we had all our stuff moved out, floors sanded and re-coated, new carpets, painted inside and out and show furniture moved in. The place looked amazing and Max project managed it all, even being there on late Sunday night to get the carpet people in. Seriously, we had some real curveballs while our campaign was live and Max handled them with true class and sofistication. Often it was the little things too, like offering to go and have a look around the place that we wanted to buy and giving us advice about buying that one or negotiating with trades people for below trade prices. Max is just a superstar in our books. I have to also quickly say that Marshall was a breath of fresh air too. He was our auctioneer on the day and just came in full of class and composure, which helped bring some serenity to a very hectic day.
