I was in two minds about selling the property (long term rental was the first option) due to previous experience dealing with Agents in Megan's local area. From the outset, Megan was engaging, spoke openly and honestly about market performance and likelihood of a sale. She also set a very realistic expectation of price point. During the first conversation, at no time did I feel under pressure to list the house and Megan gave me time to consider the options. Once I decided to sell the house through her, it was all systems go. Megan discussed strategies with me and proposed a sales and marketing approach which I agreed to. She asked for 24hr to refine the plan but returned the next day with an "off market offer". The initial offer was somewhat lower than expectation but she worked hard over the next day or so to meet expectation. Unlike other agents I've dealt with, who appeared to be more than happy for a quick commission, I actually felt Megan was working for me, not her own bottom line. Despite a couple of curveballs prior to unconditional exchange, Megan was engaged throughout and kept me updated the whole way along until contracts did exchange unconditionally. As an aside, when it looked like the deal may not go through, Megan was already working on the next strategy, including making a personal investment to get the house ready for open market. As I mentioned earlier, she was working for me, not her bottom line. A fantastic agent and I have no hesitation to strongly recommend Megan to prospective seller. I'd even approach her if I was looking to buy. Qualities I noticed dealing with Megan.
