A few months ago the time had come for my elderly mother 93 years of age to move from her much loved home in Balwyn North to an Aged Care Facility. It then became my responsibility to put the home on the market. Prior to doing this I did a lot of research regarding various Agents in the area and ultimately narrowed the field to 3 who had good sales records in Balwyn North. In the meantime a lovely lady who works with my wife made mention of Meredith Plant who actually lives in the area and as such has a great knowledge of marketing trends within the area. My main conversations were with Meredith whereby she would keep me fully informed regarding current trends,open house inspections etc. Through this process I would meet with Meredith and Mark and discuss matters pertaining to marketing strategies and changes that we should look at. Unfortunately leading up to the auction date it was obvious that home sales prices had dropped and auction results were only a little over 60%. On the day of auction I was lucky enough to have have a fabulous sales team of Meredith Plant, Mark Salvati and Richard James (Director/Auctioneer) This team were fabulous and with their expertise and solid sales measures gained an extra $30.000 to our benefit.
