We entrusted Michael Harris and his team to sell our investment property in Newtown. It was a bit run down so we gave them relatively free reign to do it up to provide the best possible presentation. That said, Michael's team and their tradies, (including painters, handymen, cleaners and stylists) were frugal with their costs so for about a $20k spend it easily added $100k to the asking price. Although failing to sell at auction, Michael persisted with new buyers using his excellent negotiating skills to reach our asking price, which was $100k above the reserve we would have otherwise accepted at Auction.
