As we were selling on behalf of an elderly neighbour who had gone into aged care, we naturally wanted to get the best result from the sale to cover the "ingoing" costs plus continuing care costs at his aged care facility. Michael clearly explained the current market situation, the likely market price range and the marketing strategy and plan that would be necessary. Michael and his staff physically assisted us in removing excess furniture from the unit to give a greater sense of space. After OPI's commenced, he and his team kept us informed on the numbers and interest level of enquiries. On auction day, there were no bids after two vendor bids were unsuccessful and the property was passed in. Our hearts sank. But we must commend Anthony Webb as an incredible auctioneer and negotiator, who talked persuasively to a potential buyer who finally agreed to purchase for $805K - the midway point of the advertised EBR!
