We had lost faith in Real Estate agents in Bathurst after been poorly treated by 2 x other agencies when trying to purchase properties - neither had acted in our interests only interested in the vendor's interests. Bathurst Real Estate were different and made us and our decisions feel valued and important and we couldn't fault them. End result - sale negotiated and went through as planned. I wouldn't recommend any other agency in Bathurst - thanks Mick and Jake!

Mick was supremely confident when he listed my unit for sale. He set an asking price above what I thought it was worth and his salesman Sandy fairbrother achieved what I believe to be a record price for a 2 bedroom unit in our complex. The sale and exchange took place over the Christmas break but it was still quite fast and the communication between Sandy and Mick back to me was excellent. I would highly recommend Mick and his team at Bathurst Real Estate.

All our dealings with Bathurst real Estate have been professional , and we felt able to ask any questions and get the answers we needed. We met Michael Whittaker the day we paid our deposit and he assisted us with some early queries, and believe he sets the pace and standards required for all his team and business that build a professional image however at the same time keeps it real and down to earth. Most of our dealings however were with Jake Lagori , who is a real asset to Bathurst Real Estate .Jake had great knowledge and customer skills combined with complete professionalism and leadership qualities. He was always there for us , communication was easy. Jake creates a genuine rapport, such that it was easy to trust hime at all times . We are completely happy with outcomes and would easily recommend Michael and Jake to anyone . We have one suggestion .... would be worth real estate agencies developing a link with pool shops to help new owners settling in when buying places with oppose . Developing a form that is completed by vendors that provide vital information re the pool and pool type, and equipment makes and age/ any vital information would be invaluable in a handover kit to purchasers . Even providing an introduction to link purchaser with who ever has looked after their pool wuuld be invaluable , so they can start on the right foot with expensive equipment that it is vital to maintain correctly. When the time came to select our agent, I researched the benefits of selecting only one agent. Then asked 3 Real Estate Agents to conduct a market Appraisal. An exclusive agency agreement with the best agent seemed to be the way forward. I didn't pick the agent that tried to "buy" the listing I choose the most honest and reputable agent I could find. Bathurst Real Estate were professional, thorough, empathetic and above all kept us informed. We choose them. Yes price was important, and this was achieved. However the consideration towards our tenant, the regular communication as we were over 1000km away and the confidence that we had a team that on every occasion looked out for our best interests, made all the difference. I can strongly recommend the entire team led by Micheal and Stacey, when leadership comes from the top and is empowered to all, a wonderful culture develops. When Micheal needed to go on leave during the sale process, Jake took up the mantra, and was equally as professional and diligent. WOW I thought to myself, in any business when the boss is away, this is the true measure of the standard, how the operation runs speaks volumes of the team. I'm not a big fan of putting my comments online, however when you experience exceptional service I believe this is worth sharing. John
