My brother and I had decided to sell our Mother's home. This was a difficult decision for each of us, as the property had been in our family for well over 100 years. Although it was a new home built on the property some 20 years earlier, we had grown up here, and it was our Mother's pride and joy. We had taken 18 months since our Mother's passing to reach this decision to sell, even though it had been her wish for us to do so and get on with our own lives. We had spoken with a few agency representatives, but when Michelle visited us we so very impressed with her kindness, compassion, understanding, sincerity and integrity that we decided to appoint Michelle for the sale of our beloved Mother's home. Michelle worked extremely hard to gain the best price in a difficult Sydney market for our Mum's home. Above all, due to the strong emotional attachment to the house and its history, we found that Michelle had a very unique ability to be able to find the right person for the right house. Michelle found a family that were very attracted to the house and that we were very comfortable with, and to pass our Mother's home over to, despite having other offers available to us. This ability to match a property to the needs of sellers and buyers is a gift she holds. Mostly the entire process went very smoothly, with only the normal anxieties which are attached to mixed emotions when selling a home close to the heart.
