For my first time buying a house and then settling at the start of Melbourne's COVID Lockdown it was a confusing and messy time. Jamie Wooding ran the open home inspection mainly, and I only really dealt with Michelle Chick at the auction, the paperwork felt quite rushed, and Michelle was hard to contact, often I would get a response a day or two later and not always from her but her office. My dealings with her colleague who was noticeably less experienced seemed a little disorganised, and responses to critical questions and paperwork came back quite delayed from both. After a long settlement, but then a last minute moving of settlement two days forward that I requested due to COVID I would have appreciated the sold board being taken down immediately when I asked, or before I moved in as it blocked an entrance point to a carpark on the front lawn and hence made it hard to park the car around it with a big moving truck in the driveway with our belongings - again this wasn't taken away for a few days and I constantly had to chase it up. All in all it was okay - COVID made things a lot more difficult I guess.
I always felt in control through Michelle's and her hard working team throughout the process via regular updates.
