For several months we were looking for a place on the south coast nearer to the grandchildren (but not too near) as well as close to a number of organisations we had long time affiliations with, and big enough for a couple of horses. She understood our situation and when we decided on our choice went out of her way to ensure a smooth passage for the transaction, acting as an efficient go-between between buyer and seller. At one stage our lending institution appeared to have put all sorts of hurdles in our way and she offered to contact them on our behalf to put independent pressure on them.
