There’s a common belief that all real estate agents are just out for themselves and don’t genuinely care about their clients. Working with Mike couldn’t have been further from that. From the very beginning, Mike was incredibly generous with his time. I asked him countless questions over several months before even giving him the listing, and he always responded with patience, care, and attention to detail. Even after securing the listing, he remained just as accessible and responsive. What I appreciated most was how genuine and transparent he was. As first-time sellers, we really valued how he took the time to explain the process, set realistic expectations, and guide us every step of the way. He didn’t overpromise or try to “sell us a dream”—he gave us an honest and practical understanding of what to expect. Unfortunately, a combination of factors—an influx of similar properties hitting the market, poor timing with our listing, and an interest rate rise during auction week—made the sale more challenging than expected. Given these conditions, we still achieved a solid result, even if it wasn’t quite what we had hoped for. Importantly, none of this was a reflection of Mike’s efforts. Overall, we were very happy with Mike and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again in the future.
