About Mike

Mike commenced working for Harcourts Morphett Vale in January 2021 after 1 year of property sales experience with another leading Harcourts office and 6 years in property sales with another local real estate brand. Mike has lived in the Happy Valley, Flagstaff Hill, Aberfoyle Park and Woodcroft area with his wife, Marnie, since 1989 and they purchased their first home in Happy Valley in 1994 after renting properties in both Aberfoyle Park and Flagstaff Hill. They built in Woodcroft in 2000 and still live in Woodcroft and plan to live there for many years to come. Their four daughters have either attended or currently are attending local primary and secondary schools. Mike is a Sponsor of the Happy Valley Bowling Club in Aberfoyle Park and he and Marnie bowl in the summer Night Owls competition. Mike’s employment background is as a CPA qualified Accountant and as a Secondary School Teacher (Accounting, Economics, Business, Physics and Mathematics) and he has taught at 3 local schools (Reynella East College, Cardijn College and Woodcroft College) during his eight years of teaching. He believes this employment background will greatly assist him in working with his clients to achieve their real estate goals. Mike’s main work interests are in the areas of real estate property, contract law, accounting and financial mathematics and these are all brought together in his real estate career. Mike will also use his experiences from being a vendor, buyer, landlord and a tenant in the local area to guide, advise and assist you in a way that will have you moving smoothly and calmly through the steps and processes involved in any real estate matter. Mike prides himself on his high levels of communication and he will keep you informed and at ease right from your first phone contact and appointment, during the listing and sale stages of your property and then through to and after settlement. Great Experience.

Buying my unit through Mike Phillips was a very enjoyable experience, he is a polite, friendly gentleman who has all the knowledge without being a “ in your face” salesman. This is the third home I have bought in my lifetime and this was the most pleasant experience of the three. I would not hesitate buying or selling through Mike in the future. So lovely and helpful

Mike contacted us after a property went back on the market. He was lovely and friendly when we first met him, he was helpful when we asked questions about the property and he took time to talk to us and explain the house, the buying process over in Oz, as we just moved from UK, he never rushed us or pushed us into making an offer and kept us informed after he had submitted it. We didn't feel like we were being pressured into higher offers, as we have with other agents, and it was such a relief to have such a genuine guy as a real estate. The sale took 18 days from offer to completing and even when I rang him during that time he was always helpful and had time to help me and my daft questions. Absolute pleasure to have bought a house from him.
