About Mike

Mike was born and raised in Sydney and established himself as a self-employed tradesman within the building industry for 15yrs. In pursuit of the idyllic lifestyle on offer within the South-East Queensland Region, Mike re-located to the Peninsula with his wife, son and daughter in 2003. Entering the Redcliffe Peninsula real estate industry as a fully licenced agent in the same year saw the fulfillment of a planned career change after many youthful years of industry exposure from immediate and extended family. Seven years of accolades followed, from both industry and an expanding client base, whilst working locally for large franchise groups. This culminated into a partnership with property management veteran Mareea Wilkinson to form Homes4U in 2010. Under the direction of Mike Smithers and Mareea Wilkinson the team at Homes4U has continued to grow and evolve to the 'Full Service' business it is today, offering their best in residential and commercial sales, project marketing and property management with underpinning values of honesty, integrity and hard work. Mikes' ongoing sales success across all market sectors is attributed to remaining abreast of technological industry advancements without compromising personal contact and guaranteeing client satisfaction. This has created an exceptionally loyal client base of personal and professional referrals and repeat business who regularly rely on Mike's precise and up-to-date feedback on the state of the local market and methods to achieve the best possible outcome in every transaction. Mike remains exceptionally well respected within the Redcliffe Peninsula and surrounding areas, not only because of his consistent professional track record and high ethical standards, but for being an honest, hard-working family man who does everything in his power to ensure his clients' success. Mike and the team at Homes4U remain actively committed to supporting the local community through sponsorship of junior sport, including netball and golf clubs, as well as school based sport and art programs.
