Very Poor Agent, Poor Outcome

My experience was very bad with this agent. I was warned against using this agent by numerous people, however I regrettably chose to trust this agent with my luxury property sale. After the contract was signed, I was treated with disrespect and the house was sold for a much lower amount than other comparable properties. The sale price and sale experience was extremely disappointing. The agent repeatedly pressured me to do what his “buyer” wanted. After the sales contract was signed, the agent degraded me to force me into obliging his buyer’s wants and needs. It was obvious that he had no concern about the outcome for the seller, (although the seller is the one who paid his commission of over approximately $100,000). The agent turned up late for the first open house, and he was dishonest with me about this when asked. We had video surveillance which showed the agent turning up late, after a lot of the potential buyers arrived. His associate agent was really helpful and did a lot of the work. I was not informed about particular details in the contract that also caused me to lose thousands of dollars. I would advise against using this agent to sell your property.

What a false, inaccurate, defamatory attack on my reputation this review is. If there was a 'ratemyvendor' website, you would poll as being the worst. You are the type of person that blames everyone in life except yourself. You have a reputation across the RE industry as being one of the most difficult, frustrating, dodgy & delusional clients that exists. The fact that I received many calls from other agents 'wishing me luck' with you as a client says it all. It's your reputation you should be concerned with. The fact that you never use the same agent twice in all of your property dealings over the decades says something. No one wants to experience you as a client again. The price I achieved for you stands as the 2nd highest sale in the street - EVER! Excellent result. Myself & my team were on time, every time. I don't need to arrive 15 min before a viewing if my team is already there preparing the home. It was you who got in the way, continually running late and interfering as buyers were trying inspect... Awkward! When it came to the buyers wants and needs, they were the loveliest buyers who were very easy to deal with. Anything you could do to make the sale more difficult, you did, and it was incredibly tiring and frustrating. Still, myself and my team kept our cool, were patient and soldiered on. You got upset that the buyer wanted to inspect the home before settlement, when this is normal, legal practice. Regardless of a great result, you were not satisfied and went on, after the sale, to try & claim items before settlement that were bolted to the home or built into the home - were yours to take. I guess we are lucky you didn't try to take the front door. You failed to settle on time & forced a 1 week delay. You continually lied and I was your emotional punching bag with late night phone calls for weeks. Good agents are constantly put down by unhinged people like yourself and its time you are called out. I’m within my right to seek legal action from here.
