About Mitch

Mitch started his career as a landscaper and horticulturist at the age of 18. After completing his studies, Mitch realised he would rather talk to people than plants. In 2015 Mitch made the leap into the real estate world and has not looked back since. Mitch soon realised that to be a great agent he had to focus on the things most agents tend to overlook. Client focused- Mitch will do whatever he can to ensure every client is treated with the utmost respect Mitch is apart of their journey not the other way around. Relationship focused- Everyone has a different reason as to why they are selling. Mitch prides himself on making each client his focus. Mitch loves building relationships and enjoys nurturing clients until they are ready. Mitch has the most amazing ability to connect with clients. This connection is lifelong and clients are drawn to his down to earth attitude and respect he shows them. Mitch is mindful that while he does this for a living, most clients only experience buying and selling on a couple of occasions in their lifetime. He ensures he works with them and makes them fully aware of the process. Mitch lives by the following rules – Stay humble, no one likes arrogance. -Give the same advice I would expect an agent to give with my nan, pop, mum and dad. That’s how I treat all of my clients. -If you want to be successful you must surround yourself with the right people, and I am lucky enough to have a fantastic partner at home, at work with Daniel and the best office in Penrith. The culture we have is second to none. As for my own time, I love to relax by enjoying time under the water scuba diving, going to the movies and creating lasting memories with family and friends.

Dan & Mitch have really set a new benchmark on what to expect from a real estate agent

Where do we start? I met these gentlemen 4 years ago when they sold our neighbour's property and I saw how they handled themselves and how they took pride in their marketing and quality of service. Fast forward that to 2022, it was our time to sell and after getting a few local real estate agents out, the boys were an easy decision for us. Whether it be their unique marketing methods, their knowledge of the Penrith market and the quality of service we have received, Dan & Mitch always followed through with what they said they’d do. Dan & Mitch sold the property $100K over where one of the local agents quoted our family! When selling a property in an easy market, everything is stress-free and easy but when you’re selling in a turning market you need a real estate agent who can actually get the job done and in the best way possible. Dan & Mitch have really set a new benchmark on what to expect from a real estate agent in a turning market. Whether you are buying or selling, call Dan & Mitch as I’m sure you wouldn’t be disappointed with the quality of agents and genuineness of the boys!

Trustworthy Agent

If you want Honesty And Integrity look no further The word Trust has always clouded my head as that word is a very sacred meaning in my eyes. People have to earn trust . I listed my home not with an open mind but with a closed mind and with a typical vendors mindset dismissing the current downturn as it was not applicable to my my much ,loved family home . Day one - 6pm market appraisal - this man rang my door bell i welcomed him in to my home on MY terms - i told him in no uncertain terms what i thought of agents . I received no reaction - this got up my nose even more so i continued on with the serve . We sat down and Mitch gave me his valuation appraisal - i immediately dismissed it and said and thought like hell ... I will sell this house on my terms only . This agent was polite and looked me in the eye the whole time and repeated his spool . I barked again - Mitch didn't flinch . I am a hard person to deal with at times and he stood his grounds and didn't fluff anything over . He left and i immediately knew he was going to be the agent but on my terms . Time rolled on my house went to market - open homes - took place , many offers came in but those offers weren't to my expectations - they were to Mitchs valuation ballpark- this annoyed me as i wanted my price .. I finally succumbed and accepted an offer much to my disappointment at the time Reflecting back i am satisfied with the sale price considering the down wood spiral Sydney is experiencing . This man put up with a lot from me as a vendor and for an Establishment who can do that i tip my hat too If anyone wants a Honest and Trustworthy agent who bends over backwards and puts there heart and soul into selling your prized possession look no further than Laing and Simmons Penrith and especially Mitch Paxton . Well done Mitch and Thanks for putting up with me

Happy Clients

I have no hesitation in recommending Mitch from Laing & Simmons. We first met approx. 18 months ago, and although our offer wasn't accepted for that property, it helped us realise our potential and we decided to build our dream brand new home. Mitch has always kept us informed throughout the whole process and answered promptly to all of our questions. Explaining things in 'layman's' terms and calmed our nerves whenever we needed, which was probably quite often. We were sold on our second open home! And to the perfect buyer. We are able to rent back until our build is completed and saves us the headache of moving twice in such a short space of time. And yes, you read that right, over 18 months of contact prior to us listing to sell. Mitch kept us up to date with all the trends and we sold at perfect time thanks to his advice. 4.5 stars in total. Life doesn’t always go to plan. When selling the family home is the last resort, the whole process can be daunting and overwhelming. With many years of experience, he will support you at every step from the moment of enquiry, to negotiating price, till closing of sale.
