An agent with a sense of humour (who also happens to be honest, courteous, competent and efficient)
Even though buying/selling a house is a serious business, I always relate better to someone who makes me smile while competently, accurately and efficiently getting on with the job. Mitchell ticks all of these boxes. When I met Mitchell I was looking for two houses - one for my daughter and her husband-to-be to live in and one for me. Of course the first house had to appeal to all of us and the second just to me. Having house number 1 sorted, I was looking for house number 2 - smaller, in the same or adjoining suburb and close but not too close! Mitchell had some idea of what I liked and wanted because of house number 1 - I wasn't in a hurry for house number 2 and expected it to take a while. Mitchell rang me sooner than I expected to tell me about house number 2 (31 Queensthorpe Street, Tarragindi) - when I saw the outside I thought it wasn't at all what I wanted - lots of steps etc - but then I went inside - and that was pretty much it! Mitchell knew what I wanted better than I did! There were a couple of essentials that either had to be already there or capable of being added without too much difficulty or expense, so I took my builder back for the first weekend open house - and the rest is history. I can't wait for the sale to settle so I can start on the additions and then move in (although it will be sad leaving my current house bought nearly 20 years ago). I thoroughly recommend Mitchell as someone who listens and for whom nothing is too much trouble in communications between buyer and seller. But sorry Mitchell, I don't think I'll be buying or selling any houses for a while now!
