I had been monitoring the market for 12 months and visited a number of open homes in my search for the perfect property in the inner west. A lot of my research is on line and I send a number of inquiries via the contact us page to a number of agents and agencies as part of my search. For me working in a sales and marketing business, its always easy to gauge the quality of an agent and the team by how you are treated on that first contact. Interestingly I found a number of agents and agencies not responding or not overly helpful to my online inquiries. Although the Sydney property market was heading for a downturn I had decided to sell my Newtown property before things got worse. I contacted a number of agents most of whom gave me a gloomy and pessimistic assessment of securing my target price. Finally I contacted Nathan Briggs who was much more positive.
