We sold up in Brisbane and moved to our daughter and son-in-law’s place at Sapphire Beach in order for us to look around for a place to buy Covid restrictions meant we couldn’t come down to physically look at places we had seen online that we liked the look of Fortuitously we met Nathan the day after we got down here who showed us through a place that we loved and bought. We wanted an early settlement but as Christmas was approaching fast it was not looking good. Enter Nathan who helped us secure a Pest and building inspection via one of his local contacts and we were in the game to get in before Christmas. We had our settlement date but we had three days of homelessness as our daughter and son-in-law had sold their sapphire beach home and had to be out too. We had all planned to stay in our camper trailers for three days until our settlement date arrived which was fine except that La Niña torrential rain had set in and camping was looking like a bad idea Enter Nathan who helped us negotiate with the seller to let us into our new home three days earlier than settlement date. It’s hard to put into words the gratitude and relief we all felt and it would not have been possible without Nathan’s intervention. This process was made much easier because of Nathan’s communication skills. He worked hard on the sale of our home and was often in negotiations late at night and over the weekend. We did not have to wait long periods of time to hear back from him. If he wasn’t able to take our calls, he would typically phone us back within ten minutes. This has certainly reduced our stress during what can be a very difficult time for a young family.
