Firstly, I was trying to avoid this review because I wasn't sure how I would fill it out but I have received the request over half a dozen times now so it seems I have no choice. The good part, we wanted to see the house the day it went online as we were leaving for Sydney that night. Nathan was able to set this up for us and show us the house. We had been looking for months and months for something like that and it fit into our price. So, we made a very generous offer and requested that the open house the next would be cancelled if the offer was accepted and we left for Sydney. On our way, we received a call saying that if we wanted the open house cancelled, we had to pay $1000 above the asking price! I've been in sales for 14 years and even though my wife and I put a second offer in which was the asking price to hurry the process, he came back for more which I think was wrong. But, we wanted the house and we were on our way to Sydney and didn't have the luxury of time to play Nathans game and agreed. So that has left a sour taste in mouth. Nathan is good guy and I liked the touch of the carton of beer and gifts for the handover.
We were more than happy with the way Nathan communicated between us and was happy to answer any of our questions, and the whole Process ran very smooth.

During the negotiation phase of the purchase of our house I was happy with Nathan's communication skills and regular contact with me which I appreciated. We experienced quite a few hiccup during the offer to settlement phase, then after the settlement I have been EXTREMELY disappointed with the vendors/sellers actions, we lack of to be honest. A lot of hidden issues with the house which should have been fixed prior to sale or identified to us at a minimum. This is not reflection on Nathan or Griffith Real estate, rather the vendors. Nathan made a number of efforts to have some things rectified which I appreciated. However, despite a lot of disappointment I would like to mention the extra arrangements Nathan organised to assist the move into our house was a little smoother. We are thankful for his efforts!!
I would highly recommend Nathan as an agent. His marketing campaign and knowledge of the industry and ability to share knowledge is second to none. I have dealt with agents in Sydney, and Brisbane and Griffith and Nathan beats them all hands down. I found Nathan to be UPFRONT, HONEST and UNDERSTANDING of personal situations (negotiating at distance) as well has having a tenanted property to try and sell. He was CONSIDERATE and PROFESSIONAL in all dealings with all parties involved. I would have definitely use Nathan again no matter what agency he was working for. He really is the BEST AGENT YOU CAN HAVE!!
Nathan has sold two properties for me in Griffith in the last nine months. He was not the cheapest agent, but having got three quotes from local agents, he was the only one who kept coming back to ask if I'd made a decision! My view was that if he was so bloody persistent in getting the listing from me as the seller, then he would do the same with buyers,. The first property was tough on both of us, took longer than expected, but his resolve to sell it remained even after our agreement expired, and so when coming to sell the second property, I did not hesitate, he listened, listed and on the first day on market had a buyer, and got a deal which exceeded my expectations. Nathan's backup team was also excellent to deal with!
