When I was initially in the buying stages I received nothing but constant communication I asked for Harcourts to provide me with a rental appraisal as we were not able to move into the house for a few years and depending on the appraisal as to whether we could purchase the property and obtain a loan to cover costs because we are retired and have no income The appraisal came in at well over the correct rental price between $780 to $820 per week Silly me didn't get another appraisal because I trusted Harcourts to do the right thing and once the settlement was done and the house still sits empty over 7 weeks later we have received 5 appraisals from different agents and all have said the best we would be able to receive is $650 to $680 and it would never be as we were told which now doesn't cover the Mortgage or expenses and the sale would never had happened Of course once I received this and tried to call Nicholas he has not answered the phone even after I have left messages and a text explaining how disappointed I am with this news of them giving me an incorrect rental appraisal that was over $100 per week out So please if you are thinking of using Harcourts just get a few other appraisals that will give you a correct figure do not trust them to do the right thing by you because we are now left with an empty house and using our retirement savings to pay the Mortgage and expenses We have now moved agents and hopefully able to rent for $680
