Engaged, genuine and supportive - I couldn't have asked for a better experience

The sale of my property was a reluctant and emotional one, after a number of circumstances combined to make selling a necessity. The property is environmentally sensitive and I've protected and nurtured the astonishing biodiversity, habitat and wildlife on the property for 35 years. Leaving felt like a betrayal to my native wildlife, especially as a wildlife carer and having my rescue babies return for years with joeys of their own down the generations. So many Tasmanians take our wilderness for granted, and shoot, have free-roaming cats and dogs and don't cherish all wildlife. Nick from Harrisons understood exactly where I was coming from and was totally on board. It was more important to me to find the right buyers who would genuinely be responsible custodians of this special property, and Nick supported and helped me in doing this. Nick was responsive, transparent and honest, and I felt like I had an ally, not just someone trying to get a sale. I am really grateful to Nick as we ended up finding the perfect buyers for my land, and whilst still sorry to be leaving, I am confident that my special property is passing into good and gentle hands.
