Nick’s character displayed honesty and his actions clearly applied strong ethics throughout our sale campaign. During the property appraisal he was very respectful and had in-depth knowledge about re-development and the types of buyers our home would attract. Nick displayed diligent communication skills keeping both my sister and myself up-to-date after each Open For Inspection, with detailed accounts on who came through and buyer feedback. We were comfortable to sell our home in a declining market to ‘sell low and buy low’. However, as the Vendors we did push against this decline! This is where Nick’s negotiation skills came into play. Nick went back to meet with our buyer three times to negotiate the terms of the sale. We were undecided if we should accept the terms right away after the final negotiation. Respectfully, Nick did not pressure us to sell our home during this time. However, we were aware of the market trends and decided to lock in the deal. Nick supported the whole process of selling my house while I was overseas in a highly professional way, always available via Skype and other means to discuss any steps which had to be taken, guiding me through the process and keeping me always perfectly informed about the progress. The outcome was about 100k more than reserve price and exceeded my expectations despite the sale happening during holidays.
