Nick was very helpful. His knowledge of the area/market was great. He helped with contacts for the preparation of sale and process thereof. He was also very understanding of our specific circumstances. As a result, we did receive a very good price, over and above our expectations which was great. Pricing was always a concern to us. We understand the concept of under promising and over delivery. Not only for the vendors but also to create market competition. However the reality was that this was excessive. At over 20% above expectations, and Nicks knowledge of the market, 20% indicates a lack of understanding of either value or changing market conditions. I also feel that the final signing of documents post auction sale, should of been done away from the buyers and not in front of them. This was uncomfortable for the family as it felt like a deliberate pressure tactic on commissioning agreements. Under promise, get a good price, then expect a high commission. We would of preferred a more open honest discussion on this. This approach feels like more of a market practice, and not just done by Nick and the team at Ray White. Overall, we were very happy and would definitely use Ray White again for similar sales in the area in the event this ever occurs or recommend Ray White to family and friends.
