I walked through the property once and it was what I wanted. I then went to auction to gain the property at the limit I was prepared to pay. Unfortunately the vendors were a bit slack with handing any keys over and disconnecting any services such as internet, land line phone. As I only went through the property once I wasn’t able to see the full extent of the state the property was left in. The electrical qualities and leaking plumbing under kitchen and laundry sinks were very unsatisfactory and of concern especially the electrical wiring in the kitchen with regards to the oven power points etc. Luckily my son is very good at repairing such things. Now all these issues are corrected from the consistent repairs made by my son I now feel that the house is safer electrical wise. It is a piece of paradise where we live and loving it. I would also like to acknowledge Grant Neilson from Maclean LJ Hooker, who volunteered to be the proxy bidder in the auction on my behalf! He went out of his way to do this for me and I’m grateful to have had his knowledge and expertise in dealing with the auction and he secured the property for me at the highest price I was prepared to pay for the property.
