Dear Daya and Sushila,
I am thrilled that you are happy with your new home and have settled in nicely.
Thanks for the feedback. With 18 years’ experience I take pride in being absolutely transparent and honest with sellers and buyers. Most importantly when I’m engaged by a seller it is my responsibility to ensure they are protected throughout the process by making sure we adhere to the law including local council laws about pools and spas inbuilt or free standing. Please refer to the link below, “Swimming pools and outdoor spas that are capable of containing a depth of water more than 300mm require a building permit from the City of Cockburn prior to their construction or installation”.
I’m sorry you felt that some items in the garden should have stayed however all fixed items are to stay in the house, anything resting under its own weight does not. If there are items you would like included in the sale they must be listed in the contract so it is clear to both buyer and seller. If you had gotten to the house and something was not as expected, I wish you had called me and told me. It would have given me the opportunity to try to rectify the issue as I do not go to back to the home between the final inspection and settlement.
If I don’t know there is an issue, I can’t do anything.
Hope this clears any misunderstandings and helps you with future property purchases. Should you have time, I am happy to discuss this further.
