Nigel has distinguished himself as the consumate professional par excellence. He and his wife Heather went to extraordinary lengths to assist us in the preparation of our property for sale - even spontaneously chipping in with some manual work when we struggled to find tradespeople for some jobs. His knowledge of the local market is truly encyclopaedic; his feel for market movements and sense of timing uncanny; his advice on all matters from pricing, timing, marketing, approach to offers and more was beyond insightful and demonstrated a clear grasp of our wishes and preferred outcomes. He achieved a sale within three weeks of listing even in a challenging and falling market, within a whisker of our target price - a feat I was uncertain could be achieved. Nigel's communication were timely, relevant, and kept us informed through the whole journey. His knowledge of "his patch" is encyclopaedic and is something that only comes from serving the Brisbane western suburbs area so skilfully for many, many years. At every point I was absolutely confident that Nigel was working for our best interests, not his own - a remarkable attribute often sadly lacking in this industry - yet at the same time being respectful of prospective buyers and taking the time to understand their needs and for whom our property would be a good fit. My wife and I had complete confidence in his advice and management at every turn. His personal integrity, while not something he would mention himself, nonetheless shines out through everything he does. It is clear that Nigel and Heather are "people people" first and foremost; that they grasp that this is actually a "people" business no doubt contributes to their success. In short the Pages tick every box. Please do yourself a favour and talk to Nigel if you are looking to sell western suburbs property - I promise you will not find better. If I were selling again in this locality I would not want anyone else in my corner.
This was my first house sale so I was not so sure what to expect. Nigel and Heather were super helpful. They have ideas on what to do to stage my house and even helped get my yard in order. Several offers after the first open house was the result. Thanks a lot.
Trustworthy and reliable. Our questions were always answered and we were always kept to up to date with the process. thanks for all your help. even washing our dog.
Nigel was easy to deal with and communicated well with us during our negotiation and purchase.
Nigel and Heather are honest and reliable. They cared for our house during open homes, and worked with us to finalise the sale of our home. They were accommodating with regards to meetings and my work commitments, rescheduling inspections to suit. I felt Nigel was fair to both us (seller) and the buyer. He is not a ‘smoke and mirrors’ agent, but a negotiator between two parties- just as an agent should be. It was an easy, hassle free experience.
Nigel was very informative about the market and took time to ensure that details of presentation to potential buyers were seen to.
I found Nigel and Heather very approachable and very accommodating. They give me the buyers feedback, and make suggestions to insure the house look good for the buyers point of view. They listen to me and work for me. I know I can trust Both Nigel and Heather that they will do their best to insure that my house get sold. I highly recommend them to any buyers or sellers.
Needed a quick sale. Couldn't be happier with advice, marketing, sale support, efficient paperwork and final sales price. Extra bonus of having both Nigel and Heather working together on the one sale Regards Nigel Oldridge
We listed our property for sale originally with a friend who was a real estate agent. It was on market for just over 12 mths. We had a bit of interest but we were not happy with prices being offered. A couple of other agents kept contacting us to say they had interested parties, Nigel being one of them. The other agents we felt were very pushy and we did not totally believe them, we felt they only wanted to get an exclusive listing. Nigel was different, he contacted to say that he had an interested party, but his approach was different and did not offend us. We entertained his suggestion to let him list us in order to show them through. We finally accepted and true to his word he and his team had a lovely lady and her husband who were interested and to which a contract (at what we felt was a decent price) was offered and negotiated. Well done Nigel and Brisbane West Real Estate.
Nigel Page was outstanding as an agent and sold my house efficiently but in a friendly manner. He understand the market well and gave great recommendations. Nigel went beyond the expectations of a real estate agent by painting my bathroom ceiling himself after I had had a repair done. I would strongly recommend him to anyone wanted to sell a house in the Western suburbs.
Nigel and Heather did a great job for us. Especially when we found the BCC had placed 2 notices on the property that we knew nothing about until the sale time. His calm and professional advice were invaluable in resolving the Notices, and seeing the property settle. My advice to other sellers is pay for council searches before you start the sale process and avoid the stress. This type of thing is where experience and professionalism standout!
