I originally set out to sell my property myself, on line, and although there were a reasonable number of inquiries, after two months the property had not sold. I was then contacted by Noel Mills, the local PRD Agent and I decided to engage him as my selling agent. I was very pleasantly surprised by his demeanor, knowledge and energy in the preparation and presentation of my property. But most of all, I was impressed by his enthusiasm and he seemed to convey the feeling that my property was the only property on the market worth looking at. Noel never seemed to have a day off, and was always available for questions and advice. Perhaps his greatest asset would be his negotiation skill, enabling the property to be sold for about $10,000 above the original asking price. As the property Purchaser, I was very impressed with Noel's efforts. He was a 'hands on' agent. When he took over the sale from the self-sell owner, Noel physically cleaned up and improved the appearance of the property. The subsequent photos of the property indicated that a major tidy up had taken place. While I found Noel was sometimes difficult to track down, his manner towards me was professional at all times. I found him helpful, and while I understood that he was working on behalf of the Seller, he also kept my best interests in mind. We negotiated some tricky details to complete a successful sale. I'm very happy with the property, which was in 'original condition', and I'm now beginning a minor renovation.
