Meeting with Obi

I live in South Africa and had the pleasure of meeting with Obi during my last visit to Canberra. His professionalism and enthusiasm was appreciated and well received, as were the regular updates for the office once the sale had been concluded. As a first-time seller, and mindful of the costs associated with servicing an empty apartment it would have been helpful to know that most things come to a standstill over the Christmas holiday period! A costly mistake for the owner/seller of the property, as the property was occupied until notice was given to vacate. Construction suggestion: as a first-time seller, it would be helpful for the agent to 'recommend' cost effective timing to the seller, to avoid the unrecovered running costs.
