Omkaar Nathwani
We wanted to leave a 5-star review for Omkarr after seeing so many great reviews from other buyers, but sadly our experience didn’t reflect the same level of care. This isn’t about his personality—he was polite over text and seems lovely—but the professional experience fell short. We never met him in person, which felt impersonal, especially when others did. His associate Kiara was the only person we dealt with directly. She was fantastic—professional, clear, and genuinely helpful. She was in contact on settlement day and really held things together. If this review were about her alone, it would be 5 stars. Unfortunately, we were given incorrect information about being able to make changes to the property. After moving in, neighbours informed us there are estate restrictions. At settlement, we weren’t given keys to the front door, which had a fingerprint lock still tied to the previous owner. Even worse, it opened with anyone’s fingerprint. We also weren’t given keys to the screen door or windows. To make matters worse, our keys and the ability to take full ownership were withheld after settlement was confirmed. Our conveyancer sent all proof, but the agency wouldn’t release anything as the seller’s conveyancer hadn’t responded and appeared to have gone home. It took multiple follow-ups to get access. We were also told broken items would be removed and we’d receive a call about a replacement doorbell. Neither happened. Grateful for our home, but the process was far more stressful than it needed to be.
