In the lead up to going 'live', he supported us with all the information we needed and what we should consider in respect of possible marketing strategies. The house was presented beautifully in both text and photos and ultimately sold in only 4 days and after just the single opening! A great result!
Patrick sold us his parents' home - upon settlement it appears that several issues had potentially been 'masked' or at least provided with temporary, short-term fixes prior to sale. Throughout the sales campaign he sent links to other properties his 'dad' had helped develop, and when we encountered issues with the property during the pre-settlement inspection, he advised that we shouldn't worry and that his 'parents' could be trusted. So... Patrick was either away of these issues or there was a bit of a communication break down between them! Regardless, I would give Patrick a wide berth when buying in the ACT! It will save you thousands in rectification costs! Our only saving grace is that Patrick sold the property under market value as confirmed by a bank value (immediately) significantly higher than the sale price! If he can't get a good deal for his parents, I doubt he will get a decent sale price for you!
